Nana met a lovely woman, Darlene Costner, through Darlene's blog, Darlene's Hodgepodge. The two had corresponded via e-mail before sharing two hours of conversation and coffee at Darlene's townhouse in Tucson--a most rewarding and enjoyable visit.
The day before we left was beautiful, and finally, warming up. We drove out to Sabino Canyon, met Heather and Sean, and ambled a mile or so to a picnic spot alongside a creek
On this day, I think the mountain lions needed a sign to beware of the homo sapiens--the park was crowded!
